Google Analytics and Google Conversion Tracking‍

This website and the beatvest app use functions of the web analytics service Google Analytics (https://google.com) offered by Google. Google Analytics enables the website operator to analyze the behavior patterns of website visitors. For this purpose, the website operator receives a variety of user data, such as pages viewed, time spent on the page, operating system used and origin of the user. Google may combine this data in a profile that is assigned to the respective user or their device.‍Google Analytics uses technologies that enable the recognition of the user for the purpose of analyzing user behavior (e.g. cookies). Google Analytics also collects demographic data about the age, gender and interests of users of the website. This data comes from Google's interest-based advertising and third-party visitor data. The information recorded by Google may be stored on Google servers in the United States.‍With the help of Google Conversion Tracking, we are able to identify whether the user has completed certain actions. For example, we can analyze how often which buttons on our website were clicked and which pages are accessed particularly frequently. The purpose of this information is to compile denomination statistics. We do not receive any information that would allow us to personally identify users. Google as such used cookies or comparable recognition technologies for identification.‍beatvest has a legitimate interest in analyzing user behavior in order to optimize both the online offer and the advertising activities of the operator. If appropriate consent has been obtained (e.g. consent to the storage of cookies), processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of the GDPR guidelines; consent can be revoked at any time.‍You can find out more about how Google collects and processes data specifically in connection with Google Analytics at http://www.google.com/policies/privacy/partners/.  You can prevent Google Analytics from using your data by downloading and installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, which can be found at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout/.

Google Search Console‍

We use Google Search Console, a web analytics service provided by Google, to continuously improve the Google rankings of our websites. Google Search Console allows us to perform search analytics that show us how often our website appears in Google search results. This allows us to monitor and manage our websites in the search index. No personal user or tracking data is processed or transmitted to Google as part of the use of Google Search Console.‍

Google Tag Manager‍

This website uses Google Tag Manager. Google Tag Manager is a solution that allows us to manage website tags through a single interface. The Tag Manager tool itself (which implements the tags) is a cookie-free domain and does not collect any personally identifiable information. The tool triggers other tags, which in turn may collect data. Google Tag Manager does not have access to this data. If the disabling was done at the domain or cookie level, it remains for all tracking tags implemented with Google Tag Manager.‍

MixPanel‍

Through the use of Mixpanel in the app and on the website, we collect personal information such as your email address and user activity. We may use this information to engage you by sending you messages via email, SMS, push notifications, etc.  Mixpanel's ability to use and share information is subject to Mixpanel's Terms of Use, available at https://mixpanel.com/terms/, and Mixpanel's Privacy Policy, available at https://mixpanel.com/privacy/. You may opt out of Mixpanel's services by clicking on the following link: https://mixpanel.com/optout/.‍When you visit our website or app, we may automatically collect certain user information from your device. In the European Economic Area ("EEA") and the United Kingdom (the EEA and the United Kingdom, collectively "Europe"), this information may be considered personal data or personal information under applicable data protection laws.‍ Specifically, the user information we automatically collect may include information such as your device type, IP address, unique device identification numbers, browser type, country or city level information, and other technical information. We may also collect user information about how your device has interacted with our website, including pages viewed, time spent on the site, and links clicked.‍Collection of this information helps us better understand where our website visitors are coming from and what content on our website is of interest to them. We use this information for our internal analysis purposes and to improve the quality and relevance of our website for our visitors.

Web Beacons‍

We may use web beacons (invisible images often referred to as marketing pixels) on our Site to recognize users, assess traffic patterns, identify preferred content, and measure Site usage. We may also include web beacons in our email communications, including newsletters, to measure engagement with our communications (e.g., to count how many and when email communications were opened or which links in such communications were clicked).‍Log Files‍The Site's web servers may log information about a user's IP address, browser type, and the current URL the user is requesting. This information is always provided by the user's browser and is logged automatically by most websites. These log files are stored in a secure location and used for our business purpose of internal analysis of traffic patterns within our website.‍

Cloudflare‍

We use the "Cloudflare" service provided by Cloudflare (https://www.cloudflare.com/). Cloudflare provides a globally available content delivery network with DNS. As a result, the transfer of information between your browser and our website or app is technically routed through Cloudflare's network. As a result, Cloudflare is able to analyze data transactions between your browser and our website and act as a filter between our servers and potentially harmful traffic from the Internet. In this context, Cloudflare may also use cookies or other technologies to recognize Internet users, but these may only be used for the purpose described herein. Cloudflare is used on the basis of our legitimate interest in providing our internet service as quickly and securely as possible.‍

Amazon Web Service

We use Amazon's AWS service (https://aws.amazon.com/) for our beatvest app.  We do not use it for our website. Our app is hosted on AWS and AWS may collect user information including your device type, IP address, unique device identification numbers, browser type, country or city level information, and other technical information. The above data is also logged.‍Firebase‍We use Google's Firebase service (https://firebase.google.com/) to provide behavioral analytics for our App. We use this information to see how users interact with our app.

Firebase is part of Google Cloud Platform and provides many services for developers. Some Firebase services process personal data - an overview can be found here: https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy. In most cases, the personal data is limited to so-called "instance IDs" that are time-stamped. These "Instance IDs" assigned by Firebase are unique and thus enable the linking of different events or processes. This data does not constitute personally identifiable information to us, nor do we make any effort to subsequently personalize it. We process this aggregated data to analyze and optimize usage behavior, for example by evaluating crash reports. We currently use the following Firebase services:‍Google Analytics for Firebase: Google Analytics uses the data to provide analytics and attribution information. The exact information collected may vary by device and environment.

For more information, please see the following link: https://support.google.com/firebase/answer/6318039 and in Google's partner policy. Crashlytics: When using our app, data is collected and stored, which is used to create information by means of pseudonymous usage profiles for the purpose of web analytics. We measure and analyze technical performance data (e.g. response and loading times) and application data (hardware and software used) to improve the performance of our products. Cookies are used for this purpose. These are text files that are stored on your computer and enable an analysis of your use of our website. The pseudonymous usage profiles are not merged with personal data about the bearer of the pseudonym without the express consent of the person concerned. You can object to the collection and storage of data for the purpose of web analysis at any time with future effect by deactivating the use of cookies in your browser settings. The individual data protection notices of the providers can be found here:https://firebase.google.com/terms/data-processing-terms

OpenAI

We use OpenAI (https://openai.com/) to operate our AI assistant "Vesti" within the beatvest app. We hand over content which users enter into the chat interface to OpenAI to create an AI-driven response. No personal user data is ever being passed on from beatvest to OpenAI. Only text pieces which users actively enter into the chat interface are subject to being forwarded to the OpenAI provider.

Order processing

We have concluded a contract on order processing (AVV) with the above-mentioned provider. This is a contract required by data protection law, which ensures that the provider only processes the personal data of our website visitors in accordance with our instructions and in compliance with the GDPR.

Complete protection of the data against access by third parties is not possible.Note on the responsible office The responsible office for data processing on this website is:

Among other things, we use tools from companies based in the USA or other third countries that are not secure under data protection law. If these tools are active, your personal data may be transferred to these third countries and processed there. We would like to point out that no level of data protection comparable to that in the EU can be guaranteed in these countries. For example, US companies are obliged to hand over personal data to security authorities without you as a data subject being able to take legal action against this. It can therefore not be ruled out that US authorities (e.g. intelligence services) process, evaluate and permanently store your data located on US servers for monitoring purposes. We have no influence on these processing activities.Revocation of your consent to data processing Many data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You can revoke consent you have already given at any time. SSL or TLS encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or enquiries that you send to us as the site operator, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock symbol in your browser line. You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. If you deactivate cookies, the functionality of this website may be limited. We reserve the right to delete or block e-mail addresses from our newsletter distribution list at our own discretion within the scope of our legitimate interest according to Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. Data that has been stored by us for other purposes remains unaffected by this. After you have unsubscribed from the newsletter distribution list, your email address will be stored by us or the newsletter service provider in a blacklist if necessary to prevent future mailings. The data from the blacklist will only be used for this purpose and will not be merged with other data. This serves both your interest and our interest in complying with legal requirements when sending newsletters (legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f DSGVO). The storage in the blacklist is not limited in time. You can object to the storage if your interests outweigh our legitimate interest.
